EIQ2 needs to be able to create schedules to run periodically, based on an interval, period and duration. For each schedule, EIQ2 needs to be able to auto generate tasks, which are then associated to specific Data Sources and their related ETL processes or maintenance and auditing. For example, a scheduled ETL task runs daily at half hour intervals and between the hours of 1am and 9am, where as a “Rebuild Index” maintenance task runs once a week and in the early hours of Sunday morning.
EIQ2 provides the ease-of-use to browse and modify SQL agent tasks, as well as adding or modifying current schedules.
